How to Wash with care?
1. Check the Fabric
- Cotton – Easy to wash at home
- Silk – Prefer dry cleaning
- Georgette / Chiffon – Gentle hand wash
- Rayon / Viscose – Cold water, very gentle handling
- Linen – Mild wash, air dry
- Heavy embroidery / zari – Best to dry clean
2. Hand Wash (Safest Method)
- Fill a bucket with cold water and mild liquid detergent.
- Turn clothes inside out, dip in and out.
- Gently move in water; do not rub.
- Rinse with clean cold water 2–3 times.
- Press gently to remove water; do not wring tightly.
3. Machine Wash (If Fabric Allows)
- Use gentle/delicate mode with cold water.
- Put clothes in a laundry bag.
- Wash separately from heavy clothes.
- Avoid high spin speed.
4. Drying
- Dry in shade to prevent fading.
- Use a wide hanger to keep shape.
- Avoid tumble drying for delicate fabrics.
5. Ironing
- Iron inside out.
- Use low heat for silk or synthetic fabrics.
- Place a thin cloth over embroidery before ironing.
